Arco and the Valle dei Laghi are well-known bases for a climbing holiday. Pietramurata and Sarche also offer rock faces and routes, with very different levels of difficulty, access and commitment. Read official route descriptions and updates before deciding where to climb.
Near Cavedine, La Cosina climbing area is reached on foot from the car park specified in the official guide. Follow those access instructions rather than relying only on satnav.
For cycling or walking, build your day around a route that suits you. A climb up Monte Bondone and a ride along the valley call for different preparation and timing; local guides help you choose.
Trento, Arco and Riva del Garda
A day in Trento offers a change from outdoor activities, with its historic centre and cultural sights. Towards northern Lake Garda, Riva and Arco invite you to spend time by the water and explore their streets.
